Now Open for Business!

Both Jodi Holley & Jerry Salyer love coffee and coffee shops - they met in a coffee shop! They would often visit different shops wherever they traveled so when Jerry decided to retire, it seemed like something he would like to do. After much discussion, planning, and traveling to other shops in the area, they found Mt. Victory a good place to open their first coffee shop. The biggest challenge was meeting the state’s codes, regulations and scores of inspections in order to be permitted to open for business. Jerry and Jodi did much of the work themselves with some help from family, so it was very time-consuming to get everything done correctly down to every last detail as required by the State.

It seems that the most popular drinks this summer are the frozen drinks with or without coffee in them. They plan to get Wi-Fi and they will also host free live music on Saturday evenings with musicians playing at various other times. The musicians will be diverse, mostly acoustic, some local, from different genres of music. They will post upcoming music events as they are scheduled. Artwork will be showcased, some for sale and some for viewing. They welcome groups to come in and have meetings or get togethers. Larger groups are advised to call ahead to reserve.
